Why does the inevitability of an end make things meaningless?
Everything that has a beginning has an end. It is the fundamental algorithm of this reality, yet humanity spends its entire existence trying to ignore it. From the moment you are born, you are told that your age is moving forward. We celebrate the accumulation of years as if we are building a tower toward the sky. But this is only a comforting illusion. In reality, you are counting backward. With every breath, every setting sun, you are simply subtracting from the finite reserve of days and hours you have left to live. We are not growing; we are merely vanishing.

This absolute, mathematical certainty is the reason the temporary holds no value in my eyes. No good or beautiful thing that has an end can fully satisfy you; if you think otherwise, unfortunately, you are mistaken. How can one find peace in a shelter built on melting ice? The knowledge that a thing will inevitably perish casts a long shadow over its birth. For me, seeing the ashes before the fire is even lit completely paralyzes the desire to strike the match. Why begin a journey when you are already standing at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the void? The anticipation of the end ruins the innocence of the beginning.

Because I see the final act before the curtain even rises, I can no longer take this life—or the concept of death—very seriously. The human experience often feels like a desperately serious play performed by actors who have forgotten they are on a stage. They mourn, they fight, and they panic over the loss of things that were explicitly designed to break. I observe this theater from a distance, untethered from the drama. When you recognize the boundaries of the matrix, the anxiety of playing the game simply dissolves.

But this detachment is not born of emptiness. It is, instead, a profound hunger for the absolute. I have never desired to stretch this finite existence, nor do I wish to live an eternal life trapped within the limitations of this human form. This physical vessel is too narrow, this dimension too fragile. My soul yearns for the truly infinite—an existence beyond the mechanics of time, where the concepts of starting and finishing do not exist. Until that boundless reality unfolds, I remain a quiet observer of this countdown, unbothered by the ticking clock, waiting for the illusion to finally fade.
